Point Design
Point Digits
The Point Digit is a durable and lightweight passive prosthetic finger with an innovative ratcheting mechanism, offering 11 flexion positions. Made of titanium and stainless steel, it provides one-handed operation and various levels of flexion. Point Designs takes pride in being a small business, utilizing 3D printing and staying at the forefront of technological innovation in prosthetic finger designs with close ties to academic researchers and clinical teams.
Point Pivot+
The Point Pivot+ is a dynamic mounting system that provides additional degrees of freedom to the Point Thumb. As a replacement to the the standard mounting system for the Point Thumb, the Point Pivot+ provides many functional benefits to the patient. It allows the Point Thumb to be moved from an oppositional position to a lateral position. Additionally, it enables rotation of the flexion/extension plane of the Point Thumb, allowing for a greater number of achievable hand grasps.
Point Endo
The Point Endo is a two joint ratcheting prosthetic finger specifically designed to be integrated into a cosmetic silicone covering. It is designed for light to medium duty applications and has a narrow profile and smooth exterior with no grip surfaces or contours.
Point Designs' prosthetic fingers are made from semi-hollow titanium using a direct metal laser sintering process. The Point Endo takes all that we have learned from our other products and reduces weight and digit profile, while enabling integration with a cosmetic covering.
Point Thumb
The Point Thumb is a heavy-duty, passive articulating prosthetic thumb designed to be both lightweight and strong, using a novel ratcheting mechanism to lock into 11 unique positions of flexion.
Point Designs' prosthetic thumb is designed for patients with thumb loss who require a durable device and the ability for one-handed operation and various levels of flexion. The prosthesis is made of titanium and stainless steel, and comes with all necessary hardware for integration into a prosthetic socket.
Our thumb prosthesis is designed for people who have lost their thumb at or near the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint. It is a mechanical, passive device with a robust construction. The Point Thumb empowers people with partial thumb amputation by giving them more mobility, function, and independence.
