ZIPZOC
Zinc Oxide Medicated Stocking
ZIPZOC is a sterile, single use stocking impregnated with 20% zinc oxide that aids in the treatment of chronic venous leg ulcers, eczema, dermatitis, cellulitis and hyperkeratosis. Widely used in wound management and dermatology, ZIPZOC works by forming a protective barrier on the skins surface shielding it from moisture and irritants. In cases of chronic venous insufficiency, ZIPZOC may be used as a primary contact layer under compression therapy systems**.
**Where venous insufficiency exists, ZIPZOC can be used under graduated compression bandages after first assessing the patient to exclude arterial disease.

Patient Comfort
ZIPZOC provides symptom relief and soothes damaged skin through its zinc oxide formulation. Its preservative-free composition helps minimize the risk of reactions in patients with sensitive skin. Additionally, because it may require only a retention bandage, patients can continue wearing their regular footwear.
Ease of Use
ZIPZOC’s stocking format makes application and removal simple, helping to save valuable time during dressing changes. Formulated with white soft paraffin and liquid paraffin, ZIPZOC remains moist and does not adhere to the wound when changed frequently therefore making it suitable for use as a primary contact layer.
