      ToeUP™ - Textile Foot Drop Orthosis

      ToeUP™ is a textile foot drop orthosis for users with milder form of foot drop. The orthosis' textile surface makes it soft and comfortable against the ankle while the material, together with the elastic straps, provides stability and support for lifting the forefoot during walking. 

      Support and comfort for mild foot drop:

      • Helps lift the forefoot during walking
      • The lift is regulated by the placement of the hooks and elastic straps
      • Soft end flexible, for indoor and outdoor use M
      • D-ring can be used to hold the straps together for a discreet silhouette 

      This orthosis features a low-profile textile ankle section that fastens above the malleoli (the bony prominence of the ankle). The ankle section is connected using an elastic cord with hooks, which are secured beneath the lacing or within the lacing holes on the shoe. This mechanism provides elevation for the forefoot during ambulation. You can adjust the level of elevation by altering the placement of the hooks or the strap on the ankle section. Additionally, there is a supplementary D-ring to fasten the straps together. ToeUP also offers an optional foot part component for indoor use. It is important to use ToeUP in conjunction with a sock.

      Recommended Range Of Application

      For patients experiencing mild symptoms of foot drop due to neuro- and/or muscular weakness in dorsiflexion.

      Contraindications

      Should not be use by patients exhibiting open wounds, swelling, redness, or a significant buildup of heat, as well as severe oedema and persons sensitive to Latex.
