    Fields of application

    For treating superficial or deep wounds with moderate to high levels of exudate.

    Indications:

    • second-degree burns
    • lower leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic ulcers
    • surgical wounds
    • wounds which are prone to bleeding
    • Wound healing stages:
    • Exudation phase
    • Granulation phase

    Properties

    • Contains nanosilver technology, which destroys biofilm.*
    • Effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens, including MRSA.
    • Low cytotoxicity thanks to the continuous release of silver ions.
    • Even when the dressing is moist its structure remains intact, and can be removed in one piece.
    • Effective exudate management due to high vertical absorption and which protects the wound edges from maceration.
    • Support of autolytic debridement and trapping bacteria and cell debris in the dressing.

    Product composition

    • 60% carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) fibres
    • 40% blend of Lyocell and Lunar Ag (silver) fibres (with 1.1% silver nanoparticles)

    To note

    • Before application Can be cut to the size of the wound.
    • Can be retained with a suitable secondary dressing, e.g. Suprasorb 
    • sensitive, depending on the level of exudate.
    • Can be used under compression.
    • Dressing change interval:
    • The interval between changes should be no more than 7 days.
