MedStock Transparent Island Dressing

Medstock PU island dressing is made of highly permeable polyurethane film coated with medical acrylic adhesive, with a non-woven wound pad.

• The polyurethane film is extra thin, highly permeable, soft and highly elastic

Product Performance:

• Create an occlusive environment, whilst being absorbent and permeable to oxygen and moisture
• Hypoallergenic
• Mild peeling strength
• Does not roll up or drop off skin
• Prevents bacterial invasion and accelerates wound healing

Application:

• Use on nil to mild exudate wounds only
• Grazes, abrasions and superficial burns
• Surgical wounds
• Retention to alginates, hydrogels, hydrocolloids and gauze dressing
