CEFAR TENS

The Cefar® TENS device is designed to be used by healthcare professionals and patients alike, and combines TENS with NMES to provide pain relief and muscle rehabilitation in both clinical and home environments.

Patients can begin their treatment in a clinical setting under the supervision of a healthcare professional, and then continue their rehabilitation at home with ease using the device. The Cefar® TENS device is straightforward to use and comes with a range of compliance features, allowing patients to take control of their treatment while clinicians can easily set parameters and track their progress.

For healthcare professionals, the Cefar® TENS device can lead to faster recovery times, shorter stays for patients, and reduced reliance on analgesics, which can all result in reduced pain, increased mobility, and greater independence for patients.

The device is capable of treating a variety of indications, including symptomatic relief and management of chronic pain, adjunctive treatment for post-surgical and post-trauma acute pain, preventing disuse atrophy, maintaining or increasing range of motion, re-educating muscles, and increasing local blood circulation.

The Cefar® TENS device features 10 preset programs (TENS & NMES) and 5 custom programs, with 2 independent channels that can be managed separately. The device also comes with various compliance features, including the ability for clinicians to monitor patients' home treatments, record pain scores, lock programs, and create custom programs. Additionally, the device has a mains rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery, which can be charged quickly and completely in less than 90 minutes and provides 6-10 hours of treatment depending on the parameters used. The device comes with a 3-year warranty.
