The HeartStart First Aid defibrillator acts as your personal coach to guide you through the process of treating a person with suspected sudden cardiac arrest. The HeartStart First Aid provides real-time guidance through simple, step-by-step voice commands and CPR coaching.

Guides you through every step

Just pull the green handle to activate your First Aid defibrillator, and voice instructions will guide you through the entire process – from placing each pad on the patient to performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and delivering a defibrillation shock. It even guides you on the frequency and depth of chest compressions, as well as breaths.

Will help you to train

Learning to use the HeartStart First Aid is easy. You can install a special pads cartridge that temporarily turns your defibrillator into a trainer. Also available are a collection of videos that describe every aspect of the defibrillator.

Always ready

Checks all functions on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule. As long as the green “Ready” light is blinking you can be certain the defibrillator is ready for use. If any part of the defibrillator needs attention, the “Ready” light turns off and the defibrillator chirps to alert you. Pressing the flashing blue “information” button provides verbal guidance to help you identify and correct the situation.

8 year warranty

With the FRx in standby mode maintenance is a simple visual inspection and replacement of consumables such as pads (every two years) and battery (every four years).
