The current worldwide situation caused by COVID-19 is an environment none of us has ever had to face before and hopefully will never have to again. At OPC Health we are taking steps to protect our staff and you, our customers, and your businesses as much as possible. Our goal is to produce policies to ensure we can serve you without increasing the risks to our team and minimising potential disruptions to your business and the health of your staff and patients.

We have cancelled all interstate travel and our sales team will be limited to appointment-based calls and deliveries, with no unscheduled visits. They are all available by telephone as is our Customer Service department to assist with any enquiries you may have at this time. Our website is, of course, available 24/7 for orders, account enquiries and payments.

Although we are arranging for as many staff as possible to work from home we will still be operating our warehouse to ensure we maintain normal supply chain standards. Our office hours are remaining as 8:30-5:30pm Monday – Friday.

We are monitoring the situation carefully and will make any changes as outlined by State and Federal Governments and the relevant authorities. These changes will be relayed to you as soon as they come into effect.

Infection Control: Demand for these products has reached an unprecedented level and we are working closely with suppliers to source products to fill these orders. We ask for your patience as we try to fulfil these current backorders which are a priority. We have currently removed the ability to order these online as our manufacturers are unable to give accurate ETA’s. We have also placed strict maximum order quantities to try to ensure a fair spread to all our customers. As such, we have had to make a change to our current Freight & Returns Policy with regards to backorders. This will result in a small freight charge for these deliveries and these items becoming non-refundable.

Other Products: At this stage, we do not have an issue with our other lines but with borders and countries shutting down we do envisage some supply chain problems in the immediate future. Many products have alternatives and these can be checked on our website or by contacting Customer Service.

Lastly, the Australian Dollar has dropped by approximately 15% in the past week and although we are doing our best to minimise the impact to ourselves and hence you, our customers, with some of our imported agencies we have no choice but to increase prices by 4% as of April 1st 2020. We are also faced with local suppliers increasing costs as the price of their raw materials goes up. These costs will be evaluated and may be passed on as we receive them.
