Federal Government Announces the new External Breast Prostheses Reimbursement Program on September 9th 2008
This new Reimbursement Program is not means tested. It can be accessed by all women who are Permanent Residents, hold a Medicare card, and require a new Breast Form.
If you have purchased a Breast Form after 1st July 2008, and have out-of-pocket expenses, you are eligible to lodge a claim. Medicare are accepting claims now, a Special Claim Form is available directly from Medicare. Any claims lodged now, may not be processed until after December 1st. You will need original receipts to lodge a claim.

Breast Awareness Teaching Aid
This Breast Form is available for purchase for the use in a Health Promotion in Breast Awareness or in an Educational setting. Made from traditional silicone, the Form has been designed in consultation with medical experts to replicate different types of commonly found abnormal breast lumps.
