The ViMove system combines innovative technology with clinical research to provide an invaluable, evidenced based tool for the treatment of low back pain. ViMove incorporates wireless movement and muscle sensors to capture the client's activity and posture over an extended period. Information is stored on a small, portable device, which can be used for assessment, monitoring, feedback and training to assist the client to develop awareness of how they are moving and the right way to move. Specialised ViMove software enables live streaming of information; and provides data in a clear format for analysis of postures, movement patterns, and muscle activity to identify areas of dysfunction and contributing factors to back pain for treatment.

Objective measurement of movement and muscle activity
Software guides through a series of movements and postures
Provides an easy to read objective summary, including degrees of movement

Biofeedback prompts the patient with alerts (sound and/or vibration) when they are:
Performing activities or maintaining postures that have been set as undesirable for their condition
Prompts for movement when a predefined period of static behaviour is detected
Reminds patient to do exercises
Encourages the patient to move within safe limits. |
