| How long will it take to receive a made to measure (MTM) garment? |
|
MTM garments are ready in 2 weeks (10 working days) after payment has been made.
|
| Is there public funding for MTM garments? |
|
In some cases. The Lympoedema Compression Garment Program, run by the Victoria Department of Human Services Aids and Equipment Program can provide funding for up to 6 garments per year for eligible pension holders and low-income earners. Funding is means tested. Click here for more information on the program.

| Can I purchase ready to wear (RTW) garments without a consultation? |
|
Garments with a compression level of 20-30mmHg or less can be purchased from the OPC Health online shop, or over the phone without a prescription or consultation. It is recommended that all patients purchase compression garments under the supervision of a therapist. It is important to monitor your condition and in some cases adjust the compression level as required.
Garments over 30mmHg cannot be ordered without a prescription and a consultation with an OPC Health Orthotist is required.
